Rye Quayside Study

Rother District Council and The Environment Agency's vision for Rye harbour was to create a lively safe professionally managed harbour located within a pleasant environment attracting visitors to the water and surrounding area and supporting the local community.

The harbour currently suffers from severe traffic congestion during peak periods and corresponding severance of the quayside from the town centre.  Marks Barfield were asked to develop ways of achieving the vision for Rye harbour with and without a traffic diversion.
